Through a combination of archival footage and that from Walkley Award winning filmmaker, Andy Drewitt's, documentary film, focussed upon the theatre production 'Carrying Home,' Memories in Action places the viewer into the minds of youth at war.
An interactive, user-directed documentary work, the project was intended to prompt its audience to re-examine the way in which our culture engages with the topic of war, using film granules that reflect the experiences of youth at war to prompt an empathetic response.
